Challenge

Our objective on this campaign was to celebrate the rich and unsung history of black colleges in America by tapping into a shared college pride. 

Solution

Our idea focused on not only the history of these great colleges but went beyond and involved the current students too. We teamed up with directors Bush/Renz ( known for their work with Jay-Z) and shot videos for social media that focused on Drum Majors: the iconic figure heads that symbolize college pride. 

Results

Our social media advertising reached the millions and the campaign trended on Twitter before broadcast.
