Role: Creative Direction - Writer - Production - Orkaila LA

Objective: Native American music and culture helped define rock as much as any other influence.

Our aim was to reveal the untold influence of Native Americans on the iconic sounds of rock.

Challenge: There was a unique opportunity to tell an important story of music and culture beyond the film, so we explored it.

With my team, I researched missing stories around this content, I wanted to delve into what the Native American music scene was doing now and how women and their talents were being represented.

With the help of Taboo (featured in the film) from the Black Eyed Peas we reached authentic influencers who opened up the doors to an incredible array of talent that we captured for social media.
